My black-and-white photographs are also about the “human”. After much practice and many attempts, I realize that I prefer to photograph people who are in a certain environment. For example, groups of people who are drinking in a pub at night. I am very much interested in the way they talk and laugh, the environment and the atmosphere will blend and change when people gather. And when there is a glass between them and me, they are no longer just “people” to me, but more like actors on stage or objects in the showcase.
